some details on the bike: MOTOR: to start with, the motor is a 69 tr6r bottom end, with a 67 crank/rods. Garry Chitwood(very well known triumph racer/restorer) helped with the motor buildup. the bottom end was completely disassembled and the cases were baked and media blasted and look brand new. sludge trap cleaned and replaced as well. the crank/rods are from a 67. megacycle street performance cams, lightened and drilled timing gears and barnett clutches. EVERYTHING in the bottom end with the exception of the crank, cases, oil pump and clutch basket is BRAND NEW. no expense spared. Wassell high-output rotor and stator, all gear and main shaft replaced in the 4spd trans. top end is a newer style, with a BRAND NEW head and black diamond valves/guides and a 750 drop on kit. has the OIF style rocker covers for easy access to the tappets when adjusting valves. once again everything in the top end is new except the rocker arms, shafts, pushrods and rocker covers! i think thats about all for the motor/trans. CHASSIS: The frame is a 70 model front loop with the bolt up front motor mounts insted of the welded ones which makes it much easier to remove the engine if ever needed. hardtail is a 4" stretch, 2.5" drop david bird unit which was bought brand new. the frame has been powdercoated gloss black. seat is a bates pan that has been recovered in vintage diamond stitch patten black vinyl. old wassel gas tank with killer paint job from back in the day! wheels are stock triumph rear that was dissassmbled and powdercoated and laced back up with stainless spokes and nipples, same for the front which is a 21" WMO with an old spool hub. front end is stock unit 650 model with MCM nos fork covers and brand new tubes. custom polished stainless Z bars, and some custom built mini apes. all wiring and electronics are new. fender is a polished alum 7metalwest unit. has a custom built sissy bar for packing up on the trips. the bike is a blast to ride. super fast, handles amazing and stops good. i built it for myself last summer, so everything is TOP notch from fab work to tuning. the bike WILL NOT let you down, you wont be the guy on the side of the road having to patch up or fix something! all the kinks are worked out and its a solid 1 kick bike all day long no matter what you throw at it! winning bidder must send $500 non-refundable deposit within first 48 hours of auction end, or i reserve the right to sell to another bidder or re-list. shipping is to be handled by the buyer, but i will be more than happy to assist if i need to take the bike somewhere to drop it off. i also dont mind driving to meet buyer if they are willing to meet within 100 miles of my location. contact me through spenserT5@gmail.com if there are any shipping questions before bidding! bike must be paid for IN FULL within 7 days of auction end or i will re-list or sell to another bidder! thanks, and happy bidding!
