1964 ½ Mustang Up for sale is my very nice and original 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang with factory 4-speed. This pony was originally purchased in Denver but spent it’s entire life in Southern CA with the same family. It has absolutely no rust anywhere! Mechanically it’s in excellent shape and all it needs now is a new home.. Current and clear CA title in hand ready to be transferred to the new owner. Drive train: Original “U” code 170ci 6cyl 1v engine and original 4 speed manual trans. Engine was rebuilt about 6 years ago and has a little over 40k miles on it. The transmission was rebuilt last year and has a new clutch and resurfaced flywheel as well. Brand new battery, starter, spark plugs, filters, and all fluids just changed last month. Cars runs great, starts every time, and it’s great on gas! It’s very reliable and would make a great daily driver. Interior & Electrical: New Pony interior, dash, door panels, headliner, carpet, ect.. I have an invoice for $1,867 from the interior shop. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights, wipers, and parking lights are in good working condition. All dash components work including the speedometer, fuel, and water temp gauges. Heater system, blower, and vent controls were just rebuilt and work great. Car has a very nice audio sound system with custom kick panel speakers, rear 6x9” deck, and working original style head unit in the dash with aftermarket cd player in the glove box. Brakes & Suspension: Rebuilt 4 wheel drum brakes and brake lines replaced, car stops great. Suspension and steering is mostly original but in great shape. Has new shocks and rear wheel cylinders. No rattles at all and handles great at all speeds. Has original 14“ wheels with stock hubcaps and brand new tires. Body: The car has all original sheet metal in great shape. Perfect seams between doors and fender and very straight. Car was repainted earlier this year to it’s original color Guardsmen Blue. The car is currently at the paint shop because they are fixing a small dent it had to the right of the rear tail light bezel and should be ready in 3 days. I removed the side emblems because the car is also going to get buffed before I pick it up (I have all original emblems and scripts that belong to the car). It has all original chrome and trim in excellent shape. Has all original glass in good shape with the exception of the front windshield that has a very very tiny chip which has been there for years. Both doors open and close perfectly with no sagging. Overall this Pony is in great shape and would make a great daily driver or weekend show car. It gets compliments and turns heads wherever I go. A true 64 ½ Pony like this one would make a great addition to anyone’s collection. I'm also including thousands in invoices for all the work done so far.
