1959 Lincoln Premier Landau Hardtop These 1959 Lincoln Premiers are a very cool car that is rarely seen out at cruise nights and shows. Only 4,606 Landau hardtops were built in that year which makes this a rare car indeed. These had really cool styling that set them apart from the rest of the late 50’s cars. With the angled quad headlights to the beautifully sculpted tail panel, these Lincolns really had style. This car has been amazingly in the same family since 1961! Excellent owner history and nice condition, what more can you want? The on this Premier is very solid and retains its original sheet metal. The original floors are very solid and still have the original undercoating on them. The rest of the body is in nice shape with no rust outs. The sides have been repainted but the hood, roof, and trunk lid are still original paint. It looks nice. The front and rear bumpers are original chrome and in very nice shape. The door handles are a little pitted, as you would expect for original. The rest of the trim is decent. The glass is in nice condition with one minor wiper mark on the windshield on the passenger side. The interior is in nice original condition. The seats are still in nice shape. The door panels are clean. The carpet is in really nice condition for being 51 years old. The headliner is in good shape. The dash is not warped or cracked. The gauge plastic does have a crack. This Lincoln has a lot of nice comfort features: Power Windows, Power Front Seat, Air Conditioning, Remote Drivers Mirror, Power Trunk Release, Town and Country Radio that works, and a passenger side vanity mirror. The 430 starts easy and runs well. The automatic transmission shifts nice. She has power steering and power brakes for an effortless driving car. The suspension rides well. Tires are Sears Allstate Guardsmen 8.50x14 wide white walls. Overall, this car is in decent shape, runs and drives nice, has great ownership history, and is just a cool car.
