Vehicle Detail

This 1977 Corvette has only 31,906 original miles. It’s been a blast to drive about, but I don’t drive it enough to warrant taking up the garage space. Here’s its story: I bought it via eBay in March 2006 (28K miles then) from a Corvette dealership salesman who had bought it from the original owner who was seeking to trade it in. He had the dealer shop do a few things to get it in good running condition: new alternator, rear brake calipers, BF Goodrich tires, radiator flush and new hoses. After I got it, I made a few improvements and repairs. It is currently in excellent running condition, and you can see the body and interior for yourself. Improvements/changes: replaced catalytic converter-based exhaust system with stainless steel dual exhaust; Edelbrock chrome air cleaner, chrome valve covers, ACCEL HEI super coil and new plugs/wires; storage bag for T-tops. Repairs: Replaced water pump and all fan belts, brake pads, and rear parking brake shoes. Body: It is “Corvette tan”, and it looks like it has been repainted once, since I can see some overspray in the engine compartment. I have looked for cracks, and can only find a one inch long partial one at the right front corner by the bumper (visible in one of the pictures). There are a handful of small nicks in the paint, but they are not visible in the pictures as you have to be within about 3 feet to notice. Interior: The driver’s seat was showing some wear on the left side where the seat belt, so I swapped the seats. The instruments all work with the exception of the clock. The radio works, including the original 8 track tape player. There is a tear in the carpet just in front of the passenger’s seat. Overall, it gets a “Wow!” everywhere I drive it. Its easy to drive, fast, and fun. $500 deposit required via PayPal, remainder upon pickup via cash, cashier’s check or money order.
