Vehicle Detail

I bought this 1971 Chevelle Malibu, 307, automatic in 2003 in the hills of Pennsylvania. Since then I have slowly rebuilt this car to remind me of my yesteryears. I swapped out the 307 for a 4 bolt main 350 that was rebuilt. I placed a NEW Lunati Camshaft (LUN-00011LK) that matched a 142 Weiand Blower (Not Included, but would sell) I had bought to add to this 350. I Also added matching springs for the rebuilt heads, valve job, new seals and roller rockers, and new chrome molly push rods. Also added was a new oil pump, CHROME oil pan, valve covers, timing chain cover and an air cleaner. New Chrome Alternator and Chrome Bracket, Extra New Chrome Valve Covers and Chrome Timing Chain Cover are included. As I placed the 350 in the car, headers were also added along with a TH-350 Street Fighter transmission newly “Beefed Rebuilt” from Summit Racing, and a new Summit Stahl Speed Torque Convertor . Finishing the headers was a new complete set of Flowmaster 2 and ½ inch exhaust pipes. The interior was redone in a British racing green, mostly because the seats that were in it were that color. To go along with that I replaced with new Green Door panel, carpet, package shelf, and painted door handles, arm rests to color coordinate, I also added new Rear View mirror and a Super Sport Steering Wheel . I also added an 8 track, AM/FM radio that looks good, but doesn’t sound that well, more for show. Also a set of new AutoMeter gauges, the dome light works, and speedometer works. GM Seat belts are installed in the front bench seat. It also has a New Green Head Liner installed by Professional. In the trunk, an original Bumper Jack which has 71 CHEVELLE stamped on it. On the exterior, I had the car painted white for best body work looks. There are a few waves in the body, but the seams match pretty well, especially on the hood and trunk. I add a Super Sport Grill and Hood. There are new Chrome door handles, bumpers are original along with all light lenses and moldings. A very nice cloth cover is also included. Since the beginning of the restoration, The entire car has less than 1000 miles on it. I guess the engine is still breaking in. The mileage on the car is 16,719. I am assuming that it has turned over 100,000 miles. Since I have replaced the drive train, I don’t think the actual mileage is relative, but I thought I would mention it. All the lights work, and all of the glass is AC shaded. Also included are new shocks, not installed, and some manuals. I have spent more than 600 hours working and $15,000 dollars to get this Chevelle where it is today. I need more time for my 67 GTO now, SO Good Luck and Good Bidding.
