1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible You are bidding on a really cool full size cruiser. This 1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible is a smooth ride that you will enjoy for years to come. Load up the family and hit the beach or lake in style. This car has been in the same family since new and with the current owner for over 30 years. You don’t keep a bad car that long. Life is good topless, live it up. The body is in nice condition with very minimal flaws. The frame and floors are super solid. The only thing I found is one spot of rust starting under the bottom of the passenger fender but nothing bad and no huge holes. Also the one skirt has some bubbling. The rest of the body is solid and straight. The San Meteo Red paint is older and looks good from 10 feet. There are some chips and scratches in the paint from being driven and enjoyed over the years. The chrome is in nice original shape with the original selling dealership sticker still on the back - Spoerl’s in Cumberland, MD. The interior is in nice original condition. The seats are still in good shape with minimal cracks in the leather. The original door panels are in nice shape. The original carpet has survived quite well. There are no cracks in the dash. The power convertible top might be original. The side top trim is a little frayed. The top has no rips or tears and it works fine. She has a lot of nice creature comforts: Power Seat, Power Windows, Power Locks, Remote Mirrors, Tilt/Tele Steering Wheel, 3-Speed Wipers, Factory AM/FM Radio (works), and Climate Control that works. Inside the trunk still has the factory trunk mat and side cardboard in nice condition. Also the car has the original Caddy white rubber floor mats, which were removed just for the pictures but are included. The 472/375hp engine starts up easy and runs well. It has a lot of power to pull this full size drop top down the road. The automatic transmission shifts smooth. The power steering and power brakes make this an easy car to cruise. The suspension feels “Caddy” plush and rides down the road like a dream. Tires are 235/75/15 American Classic Wide White Wall Radials with factory wire caps. Overall, this is a nice driver 70 DeVille Convertible with excellent ownership history and is a solid preserved car. Drive it as is everywhere and you’ll have a ball.
