Vehicle Detail
This is a 49 Hudson Club Coupe. I will finish description later. On Apr-29-10 at 08:09:20 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a 49 Hudson Club Coupe, it has 93,000 miles on it and is a 3rd owner car. It has a 262 Engine with a 3speed standard transmisssion,no overdrive. It has a radio and heater, the orginial interior. The front seat has a seat cover. I have never taken it loose but i imagine the front seat is in great shape but that is a question. The door panels on both sides are in great shape. The Panel on both sides of the reat seat are in great shape. All the interior trim is n great shape. The steering wheel has a few cracks, but not bad. The gear shift knob is in perfect shape. All the knobs on dash are also in great shape. The dashboard itself has some loose paint on it, as u can see in picture. The headliner has a few holes in it. The floor board mat are original and are in decent shape. This car belonged to my best friends family. He had it painted 1time by a friend of his for $18 and that is the paint that is still on it now. This car has sat in a building for about 20yrs. As u can see in the picture there is some surface rust and some of the paint is peeling. All of the glass in the car is good and all the door glass and quarter glass work great. The bumpers are in good shape, chrome is tarnished and a few dents. The grill is in good shape minus some of the stainless has a cpl dents but there is new pieces that go with the car for the grill. All of the tailights are good, the chrome are pitted a lil bit. The hood piece is good but pitted a little bit also. The overall appreance of the whole car is great, this car would make a nice driver. I took some pictures of the parts of the car that need repaired, the picture that shows the left rear frame you will see a rust whole there on the right frame rail you will see some frame rust there. Other than that the whole underneath looks good. There is a few pinholes in the left floor board and will probably need replaced. There is a repair panel made for that. Everything else on the car looks and is good. The truck floor as in the picture you can see is in good shape. Underneath doors, hood, truck, the inner fenders, cow section, there is no rust only the places i have told you about. On Apr-29-10 at 08:15:40 PDT, seller added the following information: There are a lot of new and old parts that go with this car. Lots of stainless and also a new clutch. The hubcaps and beauty rings are in great shape. The engine turns over but i have not started it, i can start if somebody wants me to,but i know this car will run because i remember the car running. I have no time to work on the car and that is the reason why i am selling it. There is a lot of history to this car and this car would make somebody a wonderful road car. If you have any questions please email or i will take a picture of answer your question. The registration from previous owner is in glovebox and i also have owners manual. This car was sold in 1949 to a Mister Little that lived in Mannington,WV. He bought it from Dale Huey Hudson out of fairmont. Thank You for your inquiries.
