I have had this car in storage for a few years and was going to restore it for my wife but never did.. it"s one of the nices ghia i ran into in 32 years,, thats why i stored it.....,,,,or .with a running engine you could be driving this as is in a day...so you could drive it like it is for a few years and vthen restore it... Rare opportunity to own a true Volkswagen classic! These restored are selling for $10,000 - $21,000. This is a very complete car. It has NOT been taken apart and put together a dozen times. It is solid!! Parts are not missing. The engine, a complete long block 1600 engine with fan housing, etc., is out. and on a pallet ,it's included in the auction Engine does not turn over but it is not taken apart have not really looked at engine in detail but certainly the engine can be rebuilt. There is no rot on it; floorboards are in good shape.
