Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This car was built with the early 50"s in mind trying to remember what I drooled over at the drag strip when I was young before small block Chevy Body is Steel by Brookville Roadster, Beautiful silver paint job, Frame is 1928 braced and extended seven inches to accept the 1937 differential, painted a semi-gloss dark grey, Wheels are 1934 Spoke with V8 center caps and trim rings, sand blasted and powder coat finished, Steering and suspension are 1934, Brakes are 1940 ford drum, Transmission is 1939 3 speed floor shift, The Engine is a V8 1951 Mercury 331ci that is pretty hoped up and complete professional re build, Crank is 20 thousands under, Cylinders Bored 120 over with 11 1/2 to 1 Johns pistons, Isky 3/4 race cam, Edlebrock Heads, Offenhauser intake with 3 Strongberg 97 Carbs , Hedman headers with Dumps and dual exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers, Great Hot Rod sounds, 12volt electrical system, A wonderful car for cruise night, draws lots of attention. This is a fun car to drive and be a proud owner, Superb paint with very few marks or flaws, This car is almost complete lacking some easy details 1. Rumble seat is not finished inside ( want to change to a trunk) 2. No seat belts installed 3. Emergency brake not connected 4.Forgot fuel gauge but fuel cell has a sending unit installed, 5. I installed nylon bias ply tires and it takes 10 miles to smooth out the ride, Bought Transmission as re- built but it is not ( I have a spare that is re build-able) Carburetors are running, a little rich,
