Vehicle Detail
OK, listing this again. Had a buyer who thought I was a fool. He was trying that old scam in which the scammer sends a faked M.O. for the price of the item plus excess for shipping the item. I was supposed to send the excess money to the shipper.....which would have been the buyer. I would have been stuck with a fake money order, and he would have ended up with some cash! Just because my user ID had WOMAN in it, he must have thought I had just fallen off the turnip truck. NOT!!!!! Now, for all you honest buyers, the description of the car is as follows: This 1998 Ford Contour was purchased new by me. I drove it as a work car for years, then turned it over to my son who drove it to and from high school and part of his college years. The car runs but runs rough at this time. My son is saying it dies on him at stop signs. It has damage from minor fender benders....ran into 2 times while my son was not even in the car. It also has a water leak. The transmission does a rough shift from first to second. A/C does not work. Windshield is cracked. It does not have the factory AM/FM radio. I had to have it replaced when I purchased the car. It now has a Kenwood AM/FM CD player in it with a removable face. Please email for more information or additional photos. Would be a great parts car if you are trying to make repairs to another Contour. All doors are good, other parts still good. Since the fool mentioned above tried the old money order trick, I am not accepting any money orders at all. Checks will take 10 days to clear before the vehicle can be picked up. Best to use cash to avoid delays. Thanks for looking.
