This car Is my Baby!!!! ---this page will be constantly updated as I find reciepts of completed work that was done on the car. I am in the Army and I have been called to duty and I cant keep the car. All my belongings are getting sold! Its part of the job. I bought this car from Peggy's Auto Sales in Nashville,TN on 4-26-06(ebay sale). I had my mind set on a project car that will be one to remember. I searched the internet for MONTHS to find the right camaro. After the final sale of the car I had TUFF DAWG ENGINES build and ship a 300hp TBI motor to Nashville. Old motor was removed and the new motor mounted underneath the hood. The car was then shipped to Salt Lake City,UT for diagnostic work and upgrades. AGAIN this was my BABY!) motor installed at 210,xxx miles Specially made HEAVY HEAVY duty clutch for the T5 transmission courtesy of JMAC Car care in Salt Lake City,UT All new Transmission parts...throw out bearing, flywheel, clutch, etc Open element Air filter Walbro 255Lph in tank pump stainless steel gauge plate face 3 gauge pillar Re-upholstered rear seats new carpet (now slightly damaged) Headman Hedders 3 inch! Flowmaster exhaust 80 series with 3inch hi flow cat steering colum new parts...tilt was fixed with dealership parts Brand new Radiator New coolant resevoir New altenator AC DELETE PULLEY KONI YELLOW REAR SHOCKS (since motor install) KYB shocks/struts in FRONT NEW(since motor install) Rear brakes new parts Needs front brakes (its just time for them but still drivable) New -MOOG- tie rods all new hoses 160 degree thermostat and fan switch The body I would say is in great condition for a 1991! (can use a professional paint job. PAINT IS 20 yrs old but still catches attention) This vehicle can drive coast to coast on NO Problem! It was driven from Utah to Oregon so I feel confident backing up my statement. drivetrain great! Needs New left side TTOP.. weather stripping good but the Left TTOP was damaged. New top will stop the slow leak. RIGHT side is 100% in good working order NO radio. No it does not. The Ac lines are gone and the AC delete pulley is installed. Heat works just fine. Does car need paint? Yes car needs paint the road salt and snow from my salt lake city living gave the 20 year old paint a challenge to stay alive. The top surfaces mostly. sides/moldings and bumpers are in great 20 yr old condition. Will I need to buy a T TOP for both sides? NO. only left side. left side has a crack in it and it leaks. IT didnt leak b4 I accidentally damaged the top(I did crack it by accident). Weatherstripping is in good condition. The T TOPs r the plastic ones not the real glass perfered kind. again...PROJECT CAR!!!! I ironed out the bulk of the expenses on this car. No need to sweat the small stuff.....im basically giving my car/baby away =(. Tuning. I would like u guys to get a feel for THE COP CAR TUNING METHOD for small block TBI motors..
