This car was donated to the school district for use in the Automotive Technology Department several years ago with the instructions that if it were ever sold the proceeds would go to the Automotive Technology Department of Eastside Technical Center. The level of technology that this car contains has lost its value from a teaching standpoint and the car is simply occupying space. As a result, a decision was made to offer it for sale. This 1949 Jeepster has been in several parades and has a long history. It has the 148 cubic inch engine with a three-speed column shift with factory overdrive. A factory service manual, along with a great deal of documentation will accompany the vehicle. The vehicle is in the same condition as when donated to the school. There are no warranties on this vehicles, either expressed or implied. It is being sold as is, where is. This vehicle may be inspected at 2208 Liberty Road, Lexington, Kentucky during normal week day working hours.
