Vehicle Detail
1970 Ford Bronco Utility 4X4. Restored to original condition. Has a stock 302 engine with 2 barrell carburetor. Never modified. 3 on the tree manual transmission. Also stock 4 wheel drive.. Engine has been tuned. Fresh oil change. Engine purrs. Transmission shifts fine and four wheel drive works as it should. Has upgraded power steering and power brakes. Brakes in front have been upgraded to disc. Drums in rear. Brakes work great. Front and rear fuel tanks are standard equipment. Has an upgraded Blaupunkt am/fm stereo with c.d. player. A $500 dollar value. Wipers, lights, turn signals, and heat all work.. Horn is currently inoperative. Suspension has not been modified. Sits at normal rake. 265 70's 15 white raised lettered Bridgestone Dueler A/T's all the way around. Tires are new as are wheels. Wheels are American Racing and have locking hubs. Newer dual mufflers with new dual exhaust and tips. New dash pad and visors as well. Also new Diamond rocker panels. New upper and lower door seals. Upper felt piece that sits on top of the passenger window fell through the channel of the door. Panel would have to been taken off to retrieve it and it does need to be re-affixed. It doesn't affect the window rolling up and down however. On that note, both windows roll up and down fine and the doors are well aligned. Vehicle has new interior and very clean padding on the floors. Zero rot and absolutely no rust anywhere.. Has 4 point roll bar with removable top.. Spare tire mounted on rear door with new bracket assembly. Glass is solid all the way around. Does have noticeable wiper scratch on front windshield towards the middle top area of the windshield. Not in direct line of vision of the driver. I also noticed some minor scratches in the rear side glass on the camper top. From what we know it is all original glass. There are some very minor scratches and chips in the paint, but overall it shows very nicely. Has a $6000 dollar paint job with a clearcoat. Believe it is an original blue Bronco that is now painted a Firethorn Red. Right tail light has a small crack in the lense. Also a crack in the right rear marker light. Both signal/parking lights on the grill have stress cracks.. All lights as forementioned do work. Also worth mentioning, all original sheet metal. Never been in an accident. Grill has been painted black. Front bumper looks great though some very minor pitting on the top right side of the bumper. Looks like it could be taken off with a brillo pad. Rear bumper is in cherry shape. Both sideview mirrors have some minor pitting on the stems and back area with the glass sits. Undercarriage is very clean with minimal grease. It is a garaged vehicle owned by a mature woman. Probably one of the nicest Broncos in California. Very well taken care of. Practically babied.. If you have any questions or concerns please email me before you bid. If you are the winning bidder please make sure your information with Ebay is updated to where you have a working reachable phone number that I can actually get a hold of you on. FYI, if you do notice on the pics the tags read Feb. 2010. The registration has been paid. Owner just needs to fax in proof of insurance. Owner will take care of this before winning bidder picks up vehicle. Obviously the vehicle is red. It was a typed mistake, however I wasn't able to change it since a bid was placed. Sorry for any confusion. On Apr-26-10 at 19:38:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to update everyone, there are two horns. One standard, which has been fixed and an extra horn that is ah...oooga horn that is currently not working. We believe it might just be a loose connection. On Apr-27-10 at 19:50:24 PDT, seller added the following information: The window channel has been fixed. On Apr-30-10 at 18:17:30 PDT, seller added the following information: The reserve has been lifted. The strange phenomenon is when the reserve is lifted sometimes that no one bids that extra dollar to potentially win the item including in some occasions the high bidder. The running joke with myself is that the guy who is the high bidder doesn't have the extra dollar to buy the car. Anyway Ebay used to put boxes up when the reserve was lowered or removed. Now they just send emails to active bidders which is not exactly beneficial to neither the seller or Ebay because it limits it to current bidders and not all Ebay users including new and last minute bidders. I actually think it is a step backward not forward. But this to let everyone know that the next bid hits the reserve which is what Ebay use to put in their box. Maybe if enough people call up and complain we can bring it back to the way it use to be. Anyway good luck to all bidders, new old, and last minute. On May-01-10 at 10:08:05 PDT, seller added the following information: One of the members of the Ebay community has informed me that the interior is not original reproduction. I have no way to confirm or deny that for sure, but it is redone. As for the stereo as seen in the pictures it is aftermarket obviously. It is an am/fm stereo with c.d. player. Also the diamond plate rocker panels I am told is not original equipment. Engine is stock as is carberutor and and the wheel wells are uncut. The modifications on the vehicles are very slight and definitely nice upgrades to give it a sleeker look. It was an original blue vehicle I am told and the Firethorn red color is not a stock color. Also the grill has been painted black. I try to represent all vehicles the best I can and have nearly 700 transactions under my belt with 100 percent positive feedback. If you feel there is a correction or oversight please email me and I will be happy to post so others can see.
