Vehicle Detail
We are relisting this because the previous buyer never made the trip from Utah to get it and never paid in full for it after 2 full weeks. Fresh from the car wash! We are selling it because my wife wanted a convertible car with a power top instead of the Jeep now. It is stock, black outside, grey inside, hardtop, 137,353 miles, 2.5L 4 cylinder, 3 speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, no A/C, Pioneer single CD with sound bar. This has been an around town errand runner, not a mountain Jeep. It has new front brake calipers, brake lines, rotors, and pads. I also had the common Jeep leaky front and rear pinion seals, and rear axle seals replaced 1-1 1/2 years ago. It had a new radiator installed right before we bought it. The windshield has some pits but no cracks. The rims are super nice. It has been kept washed and garaged in the winter so it has NO RUST on it. This is a reliable Wrangler that will take anyone anywhere. The body has the clear coat is coming off the hood, the hood has a small shallow dent as does the grill shell top edge, and the clear coat is starting to come off the windshield frame, fender tops, and front doors too. The hard top paint is fine. We have a written estimate to paint the entire Jeep for $418.00 (inexpensive because there really is not much on a Jeep to paint, plus it is black and not high cost metallic) The front tires are showing wear and have maybe a 1,000 miles left on them. We were going to get it painted and put new front tires on it but we thought some people would rather it be more affordable to buy now the way it is and do the other later if they wanted. The rear carpet is very nice, but the front is dirty from tracking in parking lot grime. We pulled it all out when we washed it up for the photos and put it in a box. The front carpet might clean up with a power washer? The Jeep uses no oil, but it has had a tiny engine oil drip every since before we bought it. The oil level never goes down the slightest between changes. I have included a picture of where it has been parked in our driveway for the past year and it looks like a drip or two a week maybe. Also the rear wiper quit. It is a good Jeep for the money and would not take much to make really nice. I have picked it apart pretty hard and it is probably better than what I have described. I have seen a lot of overpriced Jeeps out there. This is not one of them. This is a TJ with all it's improvements for the price of an old uncomforable YJ. It is driven everyday by the Mrs still and will be till it is sold, but with 3 other cars we need the room. It has no liens on the title, and the title is clear and normal. Have a great day.
