here i have a 65 chevelle that i have been restoring for about eight months. it has just been stripped to metal and painted with 2k urethane primer and 2010 corvette red base clear. new quarters installed, new windshield, new weatherstripping, some chrome replaced, most was good. the 283 that is in it was just out completely disassembled, and rebuilt. the 283 is bored .40 over and has dome top pistons in it 12:1, runs an HEI and Electric fanengine has new bearings,moly rings, new hv oil pump, new 282 cam .465/.465, new lifters, new double roller timing set, chrome timing cover, new starter, new red top battery, new battery cables, new cap rotor and wires, new master cylinder, new brake lines,new hurst shifter. tranny is ab4 speed. interior is in good shape original seats with no tears, new carpet and sound deadener, new headlight switch and wiper switch, new turn signal indicator lenses, new armrest pads, interior needs headliner but most of head liner is still in it just last bit above rear window pulled off of bows so i cut it off. , also has drip rail moldings and new wheels. trunk is sprayed with bed liner. currently has no radio cant bring myself to cut dash for new style. front end completely rebuilt, new upper and lower control arm bushings (that sucked) upper and lower ball joints, shocks,and complete steering assembly(inner and outer tie rods, adjusting sleeves, drag link, and pitman arm). new headers and thrush mufflers, side trim was deleted holes were welded shut. i m sure that i am forgetting some things that i put in it but i cant remember it all. screws were replaced with stainless where possible. car was originally a blue on blue 283 3 speed car from kansas, out of the kansas city chevelle plant. has 65 kansas wyandotte county front plate. feel free to email and ask questions
