Hi! Up for bids is this beautiful 1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V. The car is dark blue with white leather interior and Cartier package. Car drives silky smooth, transmission shifts perfect, very good tires as well as suspension Everything works! Car came originally from North Carolina and has always been kept in great shape. The car is solid and it was rust proofed when new.It has had only one re-spray due to the paint being faded. When I went to photograph the car I didn’t have time to get it washed, so these pics show the car I bit dirty, I do apologize for that but the paint is nice and shinny. There are some minor defects worth mentioning, like the vinyl top trip coming off on the passenger side, this can be re-stitched. The front drivers side bump override has a dent and the rubber is missing. Also one center cap is missing the center logo. The interior of this car is in excellent shape, Please see pics. Original carpet, original upholstery showing slight patina but much better than average considering the age of the car. The factory radio is missing, but the dash faceplate was not cut, it was blocked and a newer unit was placed under the dashboard to facilitate re-installation of the original unit if so desired. (I have also pictured this). This car has excellent presence and great stance, the reserve is very low!!
