Vehicle Detail
This is an opportunity to own a classic all-steel 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Business Coupe. There were not a lot of these built and the condition of this car when purchased was an 8 out of 10. I purchased this car from original owners over 10 years ago and drove it home. The intent was to build street-rod (show quality) and no expense was spared. In fact, approximately $22,000 has been spent thus far. The “estimated value’ of this car once finished should be at least $40,000. I believe car can be finished from present condition for about $10,000. The first step was the total disassembly, every nut and bolt and all parts were media blasted. There was not a lot of body work to do, but headlights and taillights were frenched. The license plate holder was sealed and skim-coated. To prevent any surface damage, body was acid-etched, primed and a base coat of paint applied. Excluding interior, nearly all parts (new) are purchased. Front grill and bumpers are in excellent condition. The chassis (frame) is channeled, painted and ready for assembly. The motor has been initially fired and then was put in storage. There are a number of photographs available that can be furnished digitally. The following is list of what comes with car.
