Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio. 2.0 liter 4-cylinder with 5-speed manual transmission. Black with gray leather interior and red carpeting. Sony AM/FM/cassette with removable faceplate. 15” Quad alloy wheels. Purchased in 1995 with 60,000 miles, there are now 113,000 miles showing on odometer, but true mileage is estimated around 130,000 (speedometer and tachometer stopped working about 5 years ago). Invested $3000 four years ago for new paint, new cloth top, new interior carpet and new genuine Alfa NOS leather seat bottoms. Car has been kept in stock condition. Engine runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly. My mechanic recommended replacing the exhaust system (didn’t specify which parts) and clutch throw-out bearing before the car’s next inspection, well as the tires. Some minor rust on rear wheel arches. Almost two years ago the battery worked loose and caused damage to the trunk carpet - problem identified and cleaned up without any damage to underlying metal. Air conditioning not functioning and heater blower switch needs replacing. Side view mirrors’ switch also needs replacement if you don’t want to adjust the mirrors by hand. Speakers need replacing. All replacement parts are readily available from International Auto Parts.com. This has been my daily summer driver for the past 15 years; I put about 4000-5000 miles on her per year. I am selling her because I purchased another Alfa Quad from a friend who moved abroad. As you will see in the pictures, this car is a good looking Italian. While she will need some mechanical work to pass inspection, I wouldn’t hesitate to drive her anywhere today. With a modest investment, this will be a fun, reliable sports car that turns heads. Alfa Quadrifoglios are becoming rare and collectable, and this one is a solid car well worth keeping on the road.
