Vehicle Detail

1962 Rare Chrysler New Yorker Topless Arizona Classic ! NO RESERVE ... ONE PENNY STARTING PRICE. You are looking at a very rare 1962 Chrysler New Yorker. This classic is a unique four door model residing in Arizona and she is a topless convertible. I believe it to be customized and not originally a convertible. I bought it with the intent of making it a parade car or fair weather fun car for my daughter, but my project director (restorer) moved away and no longer resides in Arizona, so this one is now being offered here on ebay. This car has so much potential and actually does run and drive. Again, the thought was to restore her completely, so please have her towed/transported to your home state, no exceptions. So many postive attributes like the push button automatic transmission (yes, reverse works too), the famous slanted headlights, the bubble layered instrument cluster, stylish chrome, the stunning and glorious body lines. This remarkable one of a kind vehicle is in need of interior work. Needs new carpeting and seat upholstery, door panel work, could use new paint, and is missing a hubcap. Is keyless with push button starter, has black exterior and the body panels are nice! Could utilize a fresh tune-up, but she does run and drive. Paint has some fade spots. As indicated, I fully planned on having a complete restoration performed on this Chrysler. This car deserves it! The winning bidder should expect to restore this classic and please do not assume that this New Yorker is Barrett Jackson material ---- yet. A true Chrysler fanatic would make a great new owner. Any Chrysler fan with any vision at all would love to own this car. I believe the engine to be a 413. That is my understanding. It is not a Hemi. The rear doors are fixated currently as to add structural integrity to the vehicle. It truly breaks my heart to sell the chop-top New Yorker at NO RESERVE, but some lucky ebayer will benefit from this situation. I have tried to accurately describe this classic car, and I feel confident that I have disclosed that it does need work to bring her back to the glory days. It's a No Res , one cent auction, so there are no guarantees or refunds and if she sells super cheap, then my loss is your gain on this topless unique car. I have the notarized Arizona title and I am selling her as a not actual miles vehicle. The winning bidder should expect to find issues with this car, and also expect to discover several positive factors also. Plain and simple, buy it with intent on restoring it in all aspects. I hope I haven't undersold the car, because the potential is huge. This is an as-is purchase with no warranties implied or expressed. Buyer has 7 days to pay for this vehicle in full at auction's end and the vehicle will not be available for pick up until the payment has fully cleared my bank. I will gladly store the vehicle for two weeks after the auction's end. I will not be responsible for errors or ommissions in the ad or with anything on this 48 year old classic, but again My loss is Your gain. Please no disingenuine bids. Have a great day and thanks for looking (and bidding).
