Yeah Man, Lets go to the beach!!! This Bug is so cool... I love the Gangster white walls... Very, Very cute.. Here is what I know.. The motor has been rebuilt with no leaks and runs great.. Thats what I said, " no leaks "!! The battery system has been converted to 12 Volt. The pans are in great shape. Heater box, under the back seat, and under the battery are all solid. The car even runs cute, with the traditional purr of a classic bug. Very fun to drive. The tach works, radio works, Does not run hot. The pervious owner has added a bracket that makes the rear engine door open at the top. He says he did it because it keeps the engine cooler and looks tough It is some sort of aftermarket bracket. Looks like a couple of screws puts it right back the way it was original. Don't know if someone would like this option more or less.. I bought the car for my wife, but she won't learn to drive a stick, (You can't teach an old dog new tricks) LoL .. but she loved the car. We are having an all toys must go sale..
