1973 VW Karmann Ghia hard top. This car is a daily driver that is partially restored. It is reliable, fun to drive and drives nice. It does have plenty of little things that could be fixed to make it better. I will list the things it would need to be perfect: passenger door needs outside lever, it is broke. passenger window needs a little help rolling up sometimes. Clock works but loses time sometimes. Gas gauge is not working. Parking brake cable is broke. Rear defroster doesn't work. Now the good stuff: The drivetrain has about 5000 miles on it. Balanced 1641cc motor. Engle 110 cam. Dual port heads. Chromoly crank. Heavy oil pump. Empi bolt on valve covers. Two piece aluminum pushrod tubes. No oil leaks! Heater works! Accel coil. Transaxle was replaced with the engine and both are under 5000 miles. Very quiet motor. 30mpg and runs 70mph all day long. Pict 34 carb. Single quiet pack exhaust. All acc. to engine are new as well. ex. alternator, startor, carb, etc. New KYB gas adj. shocks. Cb performance 2 inch drop spindles up front. 4 wheel computer alignment. Disc brakes in front, drum rear. Front brakes are new, rear are not. Tires have less than 5K on them as well. All lights and blinkers, horn etc. work. Interior light and clock light not working. Interior is fair. Has new carpet but door panels are showing their age. Headliner is white and faded but not ripped or hanging. Dash pads are swollen and ugly. Bug pack quick shifter. No rust, older repaint. Paint is showing age but still has some shine. Small dings and chips here and their but no dents. Front bumper mounts removed and holes welded over and filled. Rear bumper removed. Both bumpers come with car. Some spares come with car. partial turbo kit including turbo and some piping, incomplete kit that never made it on car. I won't sell it seperate. J- pipes. Original type front spindles. Original shifter and bumpers. Spare cylinder head and some other misc. spares. I have had this car for about three years and don't know the previous history.
