Red and ready! I have owned this beautiful 350SL 2-door roadster for 9 years. The interior is tan and brown and has Mercedes floor mats; it has a 3 speed automatic transmission that has just been serviced, power steering, and power disk brakes. Quality Enterprises (Mercedes Service and Restoration located in Sheridan, IN) recently replaced the engine wiring harness, sensors, and all the important vacuum hoses, adjusted the valves, and tuned the Bosch fuel injection to perfection. The steering pump is going to need some new seals soon. It has been recently repainted the correct Signal Red and looks outstanding with only a couple minor blemishes. The car has the original Becker Mexico AM/FM Cassette stereo. Did I mention the air conditioning has been converted to R134a ? The Black convertible top was replaced several years ago, but has only seen about 2500 miles of use and is in excellent condition. The factory mag wheels are wearing the correct Uniroyal Tiger Paws. There of course a few minor flaws that need to be fixed, such as a small split in the seam of the driver’s seat, but these are minor in spite of the money invested in getting the engine back in perfect tune. New seals have been installed for the doors and trunk with many additional spare parts included. This 9 year journey has been a labor of love, but I need to give her a new home as my growing family won't fit into just two seats anymore. It sports the SMALL graceful original design bumpers rather than the clumsy looking crash bumpers fitted to 1974 and later cars. The car is being sold "AS IS" without any express or implied warranty. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required within 3 days of the end of the auction, and the balance due is within 7 days of the end of the auction.
