1971 Ford F-100 2wd pickup Sports Custom package 2 wheel drive 302 V8 2-bbl C-4 Automatic Transmission 134,000 Miles Power Steering Power Brakes windshield washer reservoir New battery Chrome rear bumper This truck is just about as original as it gets. Original AM radio works great New parts include: Spark plugs, Distributor Cap and rotor, Spark plug wires, fuel filter, fuel tank sending unit, air filter, rebuilt autolite 2-bblcarburator, fresh oil change Newer 16" wheels and tires 245/75/16 Newer exhaust y-pipe and 50 Series flowmaster muffler Wired for trailer towing Fuel tank behind the seat has been removed and the necessary body work performed to cover the hole where the fuel tank fill was There are a few small dents, one is on the drivers side top corner of the hood, passenger side front fender next to the bumper, and passenger side rear quarter panel and part of the fender well where it look like a tire may have blown causing the damage. All are very simple fixes. The dash is cracked in the usual spot but it can be replaced easily enough Driver's seat shows some wear which would mean the seat would need to be recovered Truck runs fantastic and is reliable. I drive it daily for work Just recently had the truck polished to help remove old oxidation to the paint. The paint is thin for being 39 years old the underside of bed has been coated with an undercoat There are a few little dents but no rust in this beauty. Other than regular maintenance this truck has remained untouched leaving its stock appearance and function all its life. Based on the VIN # This truck was assembled in San Jose California, and shipped to Salt Lake City Utah for sale out of a dealership. From what information i can find the truck has spent most of its life in Idaho with short stints of time in Portland Oregon and Washington. It has escaped the clutches of salt corrosion in the state of Utah Truck does not leak any fluid This would be a great cruiser to easily restore back to original because its still mostly already there I have the original windshield wiper frames to go with the truck as wellThere is a small crack in the windshield behind the rear view mirror. Most of it is covered by the mirror itself. As well there is a small chip up very high next to the crackAll 4 tires are newer tires. 1 does not match the other 3 I'm assuming due to a tire blowout. All tires have been sipedTo my knowledge this truck has never had any major bodywork or mechanical work. As far as i know, only routine maintenance has been done to assure the reliability of the vehicle. Regular oil changes, brakes and such have been done. Truck drives straight, tires are not cupped, no shimmy's, shakes, or wobbles. I average about 15-16 MPG but i also drive it like i would a cruiser.I have removed the option for the "Buy It Now" because of scammers on Ebay. So I apologize to those people who have bid on this truck.The truck as of the 1st of April will be in storage. The storage is in my name.
