You are bidding on a 1990 chevy Silverado, longbed pickup. In short, mechanically, this truck is strong and has served it's purpose very well for me. I just had the PA registration and inspection completed for another year (March 2011). Cosmetically, it could use some work depending on purpose of use. It has several rust spots and the paint is peeling almost everywhere (this was the year dupont had issues with the clear coat so I found out), but overall the truck is in sound condition. No rust in truck bed. I purchased the truck from my brother in law a few years ago and have put about 4,000 miles on it. He bought it from the original owner at 72K about 7 years before I bought it from him. I bought it and used it for various yard work and rennovation projects at my house and have had no problems with it. I have a couple of rentals in Philly and drive it there from Allentown regularly. I wouldn t be afraid to drive it across the country... it's just that reliable. Since I purchased the truck, I have installed a new water pump, master cylinder, tie rods, belts, spark plugs, brake pads, air filter, (tune up stuff), and changed the oil three times. It has a 5.7ltr 350 V8, which by Chevy standards is the best motor they made. If you are interested and want to see the truck, please email me to make arrangments. I just don't drive it as much any more and it's taking up a parking spot at my house. I have plenty of family members that I can donate it to if it comes down to price.
