Very,Very, Very Rare 1979 Datsun 280 ZXR. Manufactured in 1978 only 1,000 were ever made and only about 400 are registered today. In 1978 Datsun manufactured 1000 ZXR's with the whale tail spoiler so they would be able to race the vehicle on the race circuit. The car was produced with Back and Blue stripe package over a metallic silver paint, Black interior, and the signature Whale tail. This car was bought new by my parents from Roy's Nissan in early 1979 and has been in the family ever since. The Car has only 84,299 miles on it. This vehicle has not ever been wrecked. Needs a paint job and the stripe kit put back on. Needs a new muffler but other than that the car runs great and cranks first time. There are a couple of rust spots but not anything serious, typical Zcar rust. The engine also has never been into. I take this car out for an afternoon drive on a monthly basis and it drives great and is still very strong. I also have new shocks, struts and other parts that will go with it.
