You are bidding on an excellent X55 restorable project- I will do my best to describe the condition- First off the car has been painted several times, 2 times I believe- If you were going to restore it I would replace the floor pans, which have been patched, but not right- Next I would repair the trunk, which is in okay condition- The fenders and rear quarters can be saved, but I will include rear skins- The interior is in great condition, the front and rear seats are in super driver condition(no dry rot and supple cushions)- the carpet is in super condition, the dash pad is also in very nice condition- all seats belts are intact- the headliner needs replaced(very worn, torn) The good news is the transmission has been restored - has partial vin and is a M22- the motor is not original , but is a 300 horse roller motor(which runs great) The rearend is a 10 bolt with a 355 gear (i think) The original color is lemans blue with standard black interior- you can still see the factory overspray on the front chassis Overall this is a great driver with the potential to be alot more I will be posting pics in the morning- I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime I have lost the title, but will have another in 15 days- clear indiana title Feel free to ask any questions All sales final 1000.00 deposit due at auctions end thanksOn Apr-13-10 at 10:12:10 PDT, seller added the following information: I just wanted to add that I have a 12 bolt rearend, which is NOT included in this auction that I was in the process of restoring to put under the car- If the car sells I may work something out with the winning bidder, if they are interested-On Apr-13-10 at 10:21:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Feel free to call with any questions- 502-727-2291On Apr-13-10 at 15:37:02 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added pics of the door jams, and the rear inner fenders which are in really nice condition-On Apr-14-10 at 07:58:20 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been asked alot of questions about this car, first off its not a rust bucket- the rear quarters are in super condition, with very little rust, the doors are in excellent condition with no rust that i can see, the rockers are in excellent condition with no rust- the fenders are in very nice condition also- overall the car is in super solid condition-I drive the car daily and it drives very well- there is nothing like the whine of a m22 transmission, and that baby shifts tight and smooth- On Apr-15-10 at 09:56:24 PDT, seller added the following information: if Buy It Now is used i will include a 12 bolt rearend and factory gm ss hoodOn Apr-15-10 at 18:27:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I was asked earlier about the transmission and the gear condition, well when i pulled the trans some of the gears had chipped teeth, so i put a new m22 gear set in it, so basically everything is new in the transmission- i have the old gears boxed up as extra parts for m 68 z28, but i may part with them (maybe). i have also been asked about the 12 bolt, well it is basically stripped down to be powder coated, the axles are in great condition and all of the pads, springs, and lines are new-- it just needs assembled- i hope this helps-thanksOn Apr-17-10 at 13:51:04 PDT, seller added the following information: I have lowered the reserve, so bid to win - everybody knows that true ss cars are the berrys of the camaros, and this is a very nice candidate for a frame off- feel free to ask any questions- Thanks
