Triumph : Other x 1959 Triumph TR3A Great Driver TR3
I have a 1959 Triumph TR3A for sale. It has 53,000 miles on it. It runs and drives good. There are no mechanical issues that need addressing that we are aware of. The car was restored about 10 years ago. The people who did the work used lots of body filler to straighten out the body. The nose cone is extensively covered with bondo, the rocker panels are full of it, and if you look hard enough, you'll probably find some in every panel. With all that being said, there is no evidence of the car ever being in an accident. The person who did the body work didn't do a good job of sanding it all out. There are several places where you can see sanding marks under the paint. The paint itself is in overall good condition. There are a few dings and scratches from normal garage rash. There are a couple bubbles in the paint on the rear of the car from rust spots. The trunk floor has some rust where water has gotten in there at some point. There are no pinholes in the trunk floor yet. It could be easily ...

Triumph : TR-6 Base 1969 Triumph TR-6
I purchased this car in December 2010 from believed to be the 2nd owner (he owed the car since 1970), out of a car collection of roughly 50 cars. The previous owner told me that the car had rarely seen the sun in the last 30 years and this is a great example of a highly original, early TR-6. The VIN number shows this is the 2,269th carburated TR-6 built for export, out of a total 9 year production run of 91,850 cars. The heritage certificate lists the car being built in December 1968 and exported to the U.S. in February 1969, delivered to Los Angeles, CA. The previous owner indicated he bought the car in LA upon returning from Vietnam. The '69 model year included some features that were only offered in that year, including body color windshield frame, fold down headrests to allow the tonneau cover to lay flat, and also a high compression engine with less emissions equipment. When I bought the car, I thought it was all original paint, but on closer inspection I noticed that a couple of ...

Triumph : TR-6 TR6 1970 Triumph TR6, Reliable and Runs Nicely with Rebuilt Motor
This is a 1970 Triumph TR6. Good condition, not a show car but reliable and runs very nicely. All electrical items work. No body rust or dents but there are some nicks in the paint, no frame rust but there is rust in the drivers foot well floor board. This yellow is not the original color. Mostly original except for Triumphtune valve cover. 1,200 approximate miles on complete engine rebuild done in 2008, fully documented. Also includes new clutch, flywheel ring gear, new brake master cylinder, new radiator, new water pump and associated parts, new oil pump, new engine and trans mounts and rebuilt carburetor. The top is in good condition, the interior is in good condition but is not the original factory interior. 7,935 on odo (believed to be 107,935 miles). I have owned the car since 2008 and it has always been garage kept and covered in a heated garage. The car does not smoke, does not run hot and has not overheated and drives straight and brakes without fading. NJ title, registration, ...

Triumph : TR-6 Base 1970 Triumph TR6 In British Racing Green
Rust free California car. I am the second owner. I rescued this one from an estate sale out in the desert last year. Appears to have been parked there in 1981. Just about everything made of rubber, cloth or plastic has been replaced. Over 6k in receipts from Moss. New: windshield, dash, windshield trim, shocks, suspension bushings, muffler, exhaust, interior, door panels, battery, tires, top, radiator, clutch, instrument panel, gas tank, fuel pump, wipers, brake cylinders and calipers and pads, alternator, hi-torque starter. Rebuilt: motor, head (with hardened valve seats), rear shocks, carbs. I also have the original blue license plate, which the DMV would not let me use because there was only one. Has an older top cover and tonneau cover. It does have Miata seats. And no, it does not have overdrive. Check out the photos and send me your questions. Or better yet, come and drive it. It is a lot of fun.
