1952 Nash Statesman Sedan 1952 Nash Statesman

This is a Great Recent Restoration of a 1952 Nash Statesman Designed by the Renowned Italian Car Designer Pinon Farina. This is the First Year of the Farina Series for Nash. The Interior was Completely re-done in a very Cool Art Deco Design with Rich Red Leather, and Gold & Red Striping Fabric. The Pictures don't do it Justice. The Seats Go down into a Bed, and when you sit in the Back you feel like your in a Cocktail Parlor from the 30's. The Low Front Wheel wells appear to give the look that the car is "Floating" down the road, like a Bead of Water. The Drivetrain is a Flathead Six, with Manual 3 Speed Plus + Over-drive (5 Speed). Sometimes it sticks and Doesn't kick into Overdrive when you want it to... Anyone who's driven a car with an Overdrive Knows what I mean, it seems to be common, and usually a loose wire between the switch. The Car Drives & Runs Amazing, I would trust this to get you across the country and Back. When the car was restored, the engine was also all re-Machined, ...

It was was Originally Salmon Red and within the past 20 Years it was painted a Brilliant Country Yellow, & Cream, with Added White Wall Tires to Match. The Power train is a Flathead 6 Cylinder with one of the First of its time, an Automatic "Hydro-matic" Transmission. It Runs and Drives Good as it is. It could Very well be a daily Driver, as it gets up to about 60+ mph on the Hi-way. If One were to Buy this car, the True Rarity of the Wagons, it would best suite the Car to be fully Restored, but that's up to the Next Owner. The Images were taken March 2018. The Mileage is about 33,062 Original miles. The Hatchback Functions Great, We Store a few Sampsonite Mid Century Suitcases in the Back for Photo Ops when we take it around town.
