1977 MG MGB 1977 MGB Convertible

1977 MG MGB convertiblehello and thanks for your interest in my old favorite joyride. a little history:this car was purchased for me by my husband in oklahoma city approx. 13 years ago. thats when gasoline hit over $4.00 a gall$$on. my main car is a gas guzzler that uses super premium only$$$ Needless to say, this car is good on gas.My husband paid $7500 for it, then put in another $2000 on various upgrades . I live in Corpus Christi , Texas and loved driving around town with the top down with my white English Bulldog! we, the car, my bulldog, always drew alot of attention.Sadly, both my husband and dog have passed away. The car has sat for over 4 years in my garage. at first, i drove it every week, every other week and then at some point it didnt start. i guess i let it sit for too long. friends have started it up(spraying starter fluid on carbuerator) and it does run, everyone says the gas has gone bad. im told it has been converted to a weber carbuerator... the last inspection was 2012, ...

1975 MG MGB Mgb 1975 mg mgb red convertible car manual classic car restored no rust

ok so I acquired this vehicle about 6 months ago from a close family friend. He is an older gentleman that is a retired now delta mechanic. He bought this car and restored it in the 80s for his father. He did some interior panels new wiring here and there and he also rebuilt the engine. Well about ten years ago his father passed and he took the car back in his possession. He let it sit under a tarp in a covered carport for years. He moved and needed to get the car out of there and thatís when I purchased it from him. I work in restoration of motorcycles for a living and do all my automobile work myself. This is the first vintage car project Iíve ever worked on and all I can say is itís been a fun and rewarding process getting this car back to where it needs to be. Iím ocd when it comes to my quality of work and 90% of the time I do way more than needed for personal satisfaction. Now hereís a list of what I can remember off the top of my head that Iíve done to the car to put it back on ...

This has always been in our family. It was removed form our barn in around 2001 and sent out for restoration. As you will see from our before pictures, it was always in very good condition. It has spent is whole life in georgia. It is a ď10 out of 10Ē. Hasnít been used much since it was restored with the exception of regular excercise and a few short Joy rides. We are simply liquidating things we do not regularly use. Because of the prevalence of scam callers, please contact thru the ebay site and I will respond quickly.

Restorable 1980 MGB LIMITED EDITION with A/C. Here are the good points. I have the original window sticker. The engine has a peirce intake and a weber downdraft carb with a stainless steal long tube header. The convertible frame is in good condition no top. I have a clear signed Illinois title, and the original bill of sale. I bought the car for parts about 3 weeks ago I swapped the wheels and the seats and don't need it for anything else. The man I bought it from put a new starter on it but never got it started The engine turns over with a battery so it cant be anything more than fuel or spark. All the air conditioning parts are here. Here is the bad. It will need quarters rockers and partial floor pans the trunk has surface rust I found 2 holes but should be small patches to fix. The interior is rough but everything is there. There are no dents or dings body is straight unfortunately its just got rust.

1969 MG Midget !969 MG Midget Arkley Conversion 5 speed gearbox

!969 Arkley SS. This is a 1969 MG Midget with an Arkley body conversion. The Arkley is a 2 piece front and rear fiberglass kit that replaces the front and rear sheet metal on an MG Midget. Originally built by John Britten in the UK throughout the late 1960's and early 1970's, the Arkley was sold as both a kit and assembled car from Mr. Britten. It became an inexpensive alternative to fixing rusty old Midgets and Sprites resulting in a unique little ride that has gained a kind of a cult status. It gives the car a complete, one piece forward tipping front end providing excellent access to the front end mechanicals. Think reverse Bugeye. The rear section, modeled after the sloping back of a Morgan replaces the rear fender and trunk. There is no removal of any structural members at all, thereby retaining all the stiffness of the original, perhaps a bit more. So what you have is a marginally stiffer and lighter car than the donor Midget you started with. There is no need to re-register or retitle ...

1971 MG MGB 1971 MGB Convertible, Quality Project With Heavy Lifting Done + Finishing Parts

The restoration of this 1971 MGB is about 85% complete and many of the parts needed to complete this top notch restoration are included with the car. 1971 MGB project car with most of the ďheavy liftingĒ done. Car was being restored by an MG enthusiast and his wife when, regrettably, he passed away before the car was completed. This car has been rotisserie restored from top to bottom and end to end. It sports striking Kandy Coat UK07 Root Beer paint that looks great. The rebuilt engine was tested before and after installation and it runs great. The rest of the drive train has been installed along with the under hood wiring harness. The car now can be driven on and off of a transporter, as may be desired. Significantly, as the car was disassembled and new parts were obtained to replace those no longer serviceable. Each part was bagged, tagged and boxed, all being cataloged by box number. There are about a dozen boxes with these parts (see photos), a list of which is available in a PDF file ...

1965 MG MGB 1965 mgb

1965 MG MGB Originally British Racing Green, one repaint since new in red was done by a previous owner. Great driver quality car or excellent candidate for restoration. I found this car in central Florida and purchased it as a fun driver and possible future restoration project. Problem is I have too many project cars and not enough time so this one has to go. The car is complete and seems to be well-maintained. It was stored for a long time in a hangar at a local airport. The previous owner ran and drove the car regularly on the airport property. Odometer reads just over 70,000 and was represented to me as original mileage. Based on condition of car it seems reasonable. Speedometer and odometer work properly. Florida title reads exempt as is the case with old cars in Florida. This MGB is in good overall condition. Starts right up and runs, drives, and stops as it should. Lights, instruments, etc. all work properly. The engine is very clean has good oil pressure and doesn't run hot. No ...
