Third time lucky selling this lovely car. This time I have included a buy it now price to hopefully stimulate some interest. I urge potential new owners to arrange an inspection to see what a great deal this car is. I have restored and sold many British Classics on eBay and have a 100% satisfaction rating which I intend to keep. This beauty has a clear title in hand showing the correct UK VIN number and she has a British Heritage Certificate displaying correct commission, engine and transmission numbers she was born with. The MGC GT is an increasingly rare car and this one is an even rarer automatic. Unlike the more common MGB GT, it has a 2.9L straight 6 engine and suspension is similar to the Jaguar XKE using torsion bars rather than lever arm shocks and springs. For those who don't know, this year marks the 50th anniversary of final production. I bought my MGC GT automatic from an MG enthusiast in California many years ago. The car had spent most of her life in Arizona and is in remarkable ...

1970 MG MGB GT Coupe 1970 MGB GT Coupe 1.8L 4-speed manual transmission

I'm selling my beloved MGB GT. Sadly I don't have time to drive it enough anymore. The car is in great condition without any issues whatsoever.I just did a 450 mile roundtrip to visit a car show in 1 day without any problems. The hard top MG Coupes are becoming more collectible in the last few years. Especially the 1970 models since they are the only model year with a split rear bumper.Take a look at the fender mounted side view mirror. A nice detail you don't find very often. The original wood steering wheel and the gear shift knob were installed as a dealer option when new. Finished in the classic Bronze Yellow paint (repainted 15+ years ago). The hood has some cracking in the paint as typical for the age (see hood picture). There is also a little bubble under the finish on one of the doors (less than 1/4"). In the last 3 years I had the following work done by my Jaguar/MG mechanic:- New front and rear suspension package- New exhaust- Carburetors rebuilt - Radiator cooling fan added- ...

1967 MG MGB Roadster 1967 MGB Roadster Mark 1 Barn find, Roll Bar, Fiberglass Hard top!

MORE PICTURES- album/me83VGXGw3ly This is a great car for restoring or just to keep it as an original. Easy to work on and get parts, these are getting harder and harder to find in original condition that are not rust buckets missing a ton of parts. Original Black and Gold plates! My parents have had this since it was 2 years old. It has always been in Northern California till last week when I drove it down to Los Angles. I have lots of old paperwork, the original manual and two sets of keys. This car also has a vintage car alarm that looks and sounds like a old time fire alarm that consists of a red bell with a key switch on the drivers fender. It comes with original wood steering wheel, the original red tonneau cover, red soft top, black fiberglass hard top, jack, a set of 4 extra wire wheels, chrome luggage rack, the Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW radio, Roll Bar and correct OEM style red leather seat skins, red carpet and door cards all for interior still in boxes from Moss ...

After 30 years I must sell my "baby". Bought it in Pittsburgh with 19,000 miles on the odometer. 3 years ago, had it shipped to Florida where I spend the winters. Never driven in rain or snow. Always very well maintained and I have the records. I have replaced the top, the interior carpet and door panels, the tires, and have had the wheels repainted. Mechanically and cosmetically, its in very nice condition. However, the oil leaks and I'm told it needs an engine reseal which is a bigger project than I care to take on at this stage in my life. I need more of a "daily-driver" during my Florida stays, so, alas, the "B" must go

1969 MG Midget 1969 MG Midget Arkley Conversion 5 speed gearbox

1969 Arkley SS. This is a 1969 MG Midget with an Arkley body conversion. The Arkley is a 2 piece front and rear fiberglass kit that replaces the front and rear sheet metal on an MG Midget. Originally built by John Britten in the UK throughout the late 1960's and early 1970's, the Arkley was sold as both a kit and assembled car from Mr. Britten. It became an inexpensive alternative to fixing rusty old Midgets and Sprites resulting in a unique little ride that has gained a kind of a cult status. It gives the car a complete, one piece forward tipping front end providing excellent access to the front end mechanicals. Think reverse Bugeye. The rear section, modeled after the sloping back of a Morgan replaces the rear fender and trunk. There is no removal of any structural members at all, thereby retaining all the stiffness of the original, perhaps a bit more. So what you have is a marginally stiffer and lighter car than the donor Midget you started with. There is no need to re-register or retitle ...
