This vehicle runs as good as it looks and is ready for shows or summer touring! 1979 MGB V8 Convertible using 1994 Ford Cobra engine. This was a very expensive, professional conversion with receipts showing over $25k spent on the conversion. This car is a screamer and surprises many modern sports car owners, including Porsche 911 owners. It is deceptively quick! Similar engine setup to Sunbeam Tiger but much better performance! Good quality paint, no noticeable rust, well looked after vehicle! One small dent near headlight (see photo). The car still has many of the original parts that were on it when it left the factory, where possible, so the car looks and feels very original. Roll-bar was added for safety. Cobra rear windscreen is easily removed. Hood was vented (see photos) to improve heat dissipation. A/C was added and is fully functional. Even with the roof down there are many days I have to drive with the A/C on. It gets hot in Florida! Car has recently had a full service with no ...

This is a pristine 1974 chrome bumper B that I bought in 08 from the original owner. It was built in March 1974, a few months prior to the change to rubber bumpers. The car was sold new in Walnut Creek CA and spent its life in Calif and then in SW Colorado. The lady who owned it called it "Precious Jewel" and treated it as such. There is no rust on this car. It was gone over by the British car specialists at Sportscar Craftsmen in Arvada CO last year. It was de-smogged, the SU carbs rebuilt, and an electronic ignition was added. I have added a Retrosound radio which is iPod compatible, Cocoa mats, new Sumitomo tires and seat covers. There are no rips or tears in the seats. The top is original and in excellent condition. Everything works. The car drives and runs perfectly with normal temperature at highway speeds. It does spot a bit of oil, but has not burned any oil. There are a few minor dents in the rear bumpers. The compression is equal on all 4 cylinders at 100, 101, 100, 105 at 6500 ...

Up for bid is a 1962 MGA MkII, Old English White, Red Leather Interior. Runner Driver. Includes a Canvas top, Canvas tonneau cover, and sliding side curtains. Wire Wheels with 2 new front tires. Car is a daily driver until a restoration is desired. Wanted a Twin-Cam, but decided to buy this car and enjoyed it for several months, then found my Twin-Cam. Pictures make the car look better than it is. The 2 front fenders are rust-free, no patch panels. There is some bubbling on the hood. There are a couple of dents, which are evident in the attached pictures. Paint is checked. There is some evidence of body filler in the rear fenders. Trunk is in good shape. Doors are in good shape. Grille has surface rust. Front valence has a dent as evidenced in the picture. Car has been upgraded to 1800cc MGB motor. Engine is strong. Brakes are fine. Transmission is in good shape, but requires the usual MGA 2nd gear care. Interior has "patina." Motolita steering wheel. Carpet is aging. Seats are in good ...

This is a nice unmolested MGB in solid original condition. The person I bought it from said the engine was rebuilt and a new clutch ibstalled and I believe that is true .It does run strong and clutch shifts very smooth. This little MG is a joy to drive.I bought this car to restore when I retired but I had to retire early with no health insurance so my lose is your gain.I have owned this car for seven years and it has been stored inside.Floors and trunk are solid the body is srtraight there are minor bubbles starting on the rockers. This MG would make an easy restoration because your starting with a solid car and all the parts are easy to find and are not expensive. You can even upgrade to a 5 speed and turbo thru places like Moss Motors. The car does need painted but looks nice enough to drive as is and fix up as you go.All glass is good.Windows roll up and down easily. The bucket seat are very nice.Needs carpet.Someone has installed a newer radio with cd player and put speakers in the door ...

Vehicle Description This car is a good daily driver. This care was in dry storage for the last 10 years before I bought it. I installed new floor pans, both rocker panels and dog legs. The car was painted a few years ago and looks really nice. All of the chrome is in good condition. A new carpet kit was installed after it was painted and the seat upholstery is new. The engine runs great and has a two barrel Weber carburetor and aluminum intake manifold. I installed a new clutch assembly. The fuel pump is fairly new, as well. The brakes and exhaust are good and the tires are fairly new. The convertible top is used, but is not ripped and the windows are pretty clear. All of the gauges work, except for the tachometer. I have driven the car around my subdivision a few times since I bought it. This is not a new car, but is a good looking car for someone who wants to drive it everyday. This is not a show quality car, but if you want a good, solid car, here it is. Email me to have a look and ...

Let me take you back to 1956. In June, President Eisenhower had just signed the bill that created the Interstate Highway system. It will be several years before any of that begins to be of any use. But just 3 months later, in September, this car had just rolled off the MG factory floor in Abingdon, England ready to tame the highways and back roads of the world. I have owned this car since 1978. I started the body-off restoration in 1980. Over a 20+ year period, I purchased original (where possible), and new replacement parts to get everything needed to bring her back to new. In 2001, the body was stripped to bare metal inside and out. Inner and outer sills were replaced as was some lower body metal rust. It is now 100% rust free. The Bodywork and paintwork was performed by a shop experienced in vintage British restorations including Rolls Royce and Bentleys. I chose to paint it British Racing Green in base/clear. The 99.9% nut and bolt restoration was completed 2001. Virtually, every part ...

MGB Convertible with Over Drive - Rare Classic, 1 previous owner - The body is in good conditon, couple of small dents, a few small rust blemishes begining to appear near the side molding trim. The paintwork and decals are in very good conditon. Some paint scratched in the trunk, normal wear and tear for a 31 year old car. This car is garaged kept A very rare to find, dealer installed option is Air Conditioning - The AC blows cold air through the dash mounted cockpit vents and a two additonal vents are installed left and right of the dash. A dash mounted temperature knob controls how cold and a fan switch has 3 speeds and off. A separate dash mounted fan switch (2 speed) runs the heating fan. AC looks factory installed The car starts up on the first or second turn, and is a good daily driver, reliable and economical and fun to drive, it always turns heads when I take it out for a spin. The vehicle is very good mechanically, runs great, as I mentioned this car is unrestored.. Parts for this ...
