The Bayerische Motoren Werke, more commonly known as the BMW, is one of the world's top 10 automaker companies. Sedans, coupes, convertibles, and sports wagons in the 3, 5, 6, and 7 Series make up BMW's premium lineup. Its immense popularity causes over 3000 dealer showrooms across the globe to sell BMWs.

The BMW dates back to the twentieth century. In 1916, Rapp Motoren Werke, a company created by Karl Friedrich Rapp, merged with Gustav Flugmaschinefabrik, a company founded by Gustav Otto, to form Bayerische Flugzeungwerke. Soon after, they changed their company name to Bayerische Motoren Werke and became the German company we know today.

BMW has produced many unique and highly-valued cars. In the 1930's, they produced the 328 Roadster, which went down in racing history as a sports car legend. It was also named Car of the Century in 1999. Another prized collectible car is the BMW 507. It is made of a gorgeous light alloy body, attached to a strong frame. The engine is made of 160 hp V8 aluminum. Today the BMW 507 is considered to be one of the most valued BMW collectibles, for only 252, 507 of these cars were ever manufactured.

Many old BMW models are still very popular in today's demanding world. One such model would be the BMW 750iL. Launched in Europe in the year 1987, the BMW 750iL is a V-12 flagship four-door. Like all BMWs before it, this trustworthy car ensures its driver excellent handling, a smooth ride, and, for a two-ton car, it's amazingly silent. Today it's highly demanded in the automobile world, and a few years from now, the BMW 750iL is expected to be a prized collectible.

Consumers in today's world often look to purchase the BMW 3 Series. The BMW 3 Series ranks 2 out of 16 Upscale Midsize Cars. This was based on Auto Press's 2010 analysis of reliability and safety. Besides being dependable, it's an entry-level luxury sedan that is argued to be the best sport sedan available.
