For sale is a 2002 Land Rover Discovery Series II with just over 50,000 miles. The exterior is white with Tan leather interior. It has the 4.0 8 cylinder engine. I get around 14-16 mpg city and about 20 on the highway. The owners manual instructs you to put 92 grade gas in the vehicle and that is all I have put in it. It runs great! There is one problem with it and that is the drivers side window. If you let it roll down all the way, it won't roll back up. You can get it to roll back up but you have to remove the door panel. However, if you stop it before the window goes all the way down, it is ok. I'm not sure how to fix it but I'm sure it's something simple. Everything else inside and outside of the car works just fine! It has been a great car and it's hard to part with. But I need to get something smaller and a little more flexible with my spending. 1994 Land Rover Range Rover Automatic - 189,346 miles
There is a minor inconsistency on the title of the rover. Apparently the tax clerk in Ohio (where we got it) logged that it had 39K miles on it. The previous owner (the guy we bought it from) caught the mistake after the entry and corrected it on the same day. The correction was noted but the mistaken entry was never corrected in Ohio's computers. Otherwise, it is a clear title. I got this 18 months ago with a blown engine, I had a local shop put an engine in it about a year ago. It ran a little weird when I got it back, but he said it just needed to be run for a while to clear it up. It never corrected it runs great sometime and other times it misses, you accelerate and it clears up.
