My camera picked up a lot of glare from the sun reflection on the car. There are no lines/distortions on the car. You are bidding on a striking, red, 1961 Corvette that was restored in 2003. The Vette comes with a notebook/log(see pictures) listing over $35,000.00 in receits for the restoration. Today, that same restoration would cost close to $50,000 in 2017 dollars(value). It has a new(2003) 4 speed transmission and new(2003) NOM Chevrolet 350ci engine. Mileage on the engine is 27,407. It is a no-hit Vette and the solid underbody is as detailed as the top of the car. The Vette runs exceptionally well and is very powerful. During the restoration, certain parts were left original, other original parts were refurbished and some parts replaced. The Corvette can easily be driven to your home, however I would recommend a carrier to protect your investment. It is a beautiful car but not a show car(has a few scratches/nicks & one spiderweb); although it has won "Best of Show" at a few local car shows. The car has never seen rain since the restoration. The Corvette comes with a clean NC title. It also comes with a new spare tire, original steering wheel, floor mats and 61 Corvette car manual & literature. It is a very good value for the money. Prefer wire transfer. The car is a real "head turner"! Beautiful lines on this car! It has been a wonderful experience owning & driving this Vette. There is no warranty, implied or otherwise that goes with the car. If you have any questions, call me, Rick @ 704-906-1930. The car is in Charlotte, NC.
